Old School

Have you ever been a part of a multi level marketing (MLM) business, I'm sure you know the marketing techniques old school where you work your hot list (family and friends), lists of everyone you know, let the cards fall everywhere, people to cold call on a shopping list leads, holding meetings on the hotel, leave flyers on every bulletin board you can find anyone to approach within 3 feet, etc., etc.

Unless you're one of very few exceptions, my hypothesis is that these techniques do not work for you. If did, great, and congratulations. However, they do not, you're certainly not alone. No matter how hard you try, these techniques do not work for most people in Multi Level Marketing. That is why there is such a high failure rate in multi level marketing or network marketing industry.

When I joined my previous Multi Level Marketing program, I was told these same techniques. The idea was to contact as many people as I could and see if they were interested in making a little money further, then sign up in my program. I was told that everyone is enrolled potential. After all, did not want to make a little money Extra?

Unfortunately, I quickly discovered that using the techniques I learned was the quickest way to become a member of the NFL (No friends left) club. Everyone quickly distanced themselves, not answering their phones, nor does return voice messages.

So, my sponsor has responded by recommending that I buy leads and opportunities call them. If you call enough people, some will join. It is just a question of calling more leads if you want to sponsor more people, the story went.

Yet backlash, hung up phones, and simply release more were my reward for following this guidance. And I found that most of these so-called asylum hand are nothing of the sort. Most had no idea how they got on my list and had no interest in anything having to do with Multi Level Marketing.

After running out of money and debt amortization of purchase I had taken unnecessary nothing to show for it.

I finally threw in the towel and withdraw from the industry for some time, and beat me lick wounds. That is until I ran across a large easier and better way of sponsorship. The new method uses the Internet and soon people coming to me as opposed to me having to go hunting for them.

Instead of trying to offer my program to all world and anyone, I have learned to provide useful information to targeted audiences, build a relationship with them and they ask me questions on how to join my program using attraction marketing techniques.
