People often ask me how I started as a collector vintage movie posters. It was 25 years ago while in the Navy I attended an auction with several local title = "vintage movie posters"> original vintage movie posters. I was amazed the beauty of some of these treasures classic Hollywood. The first poster I bought was an "Abbott & Costello Meet Dr. Jekyl & Mr Hyde "a sheet of 1953. The illustrations were just beautiful. I was soon to learn that this rare ephemera was not only capturing a fascinating hobby, but also an excellent investment. Many movie posters I collected appreciated by 50% after only a few years.
