Rare Japan

Ok, now an idea that shark looks like. We've seen hammerhead sharks, and thus the normal type of fear of sharks – with one wing raised the center of his body. Not these sharks – these are seen rarely, if not ordinary, blink-and-it-you shark attacks.
It's been 33 years, Steven Spielberg made us afraid of sharks. Tons and tons of nature shows have proven that in water, they are kings, they are bears and lions that attack the nemos Small and Spongebobs sea
Prehistoric Shark – A Japanese fisherman is more likely that he negotiated when he came in contact with this strange animal swimming off the coast of Japan. An eel as a rare frilled shark is considered a prehistoric version of the monster that we know and all fear.
The fisherman immediately contacted representatives of the marine environment and the specimen was immediately transferred to Awashima Marine Park in Shizuoka, where, only hours later he died.
The shark, whose scientific name is Chlamydoselachus anguineus, lives in a depth of 600 – 1400 meters underwater, deeper than where humans can go. It is very rarely seen, and / or captured on film, but apparently This specimen was sick, so it has been found in shallow waters, where the Japanese fisherman was captured.
Shark feet – Demetri Martin once joked about how he was not afraid of sharks – in a land situation. Well, as it does not Malaysia. A worker in the Fisheries Development Board Malaysia has made an unusual request she received a 3-pound shark … with feet webbed.
A housewife was about to cut the fish to cook when she noticed something odd about the shark – it had webbed feet. The head of the Marine Station at the University Sains Malaysia, Prof Dr Zulfigar Yasin said this is the first time he had heard of a fish with legs in the Malaysian waters.
To quote: "As far as I am concerned, fish species with legs or bony fins can only be discovered in the waters north of Sulawesi in Indonesia or South Africa. "
Goblin Shark – For the latter, here are the greatest, Baddest, attack-you-all-you-swim the shark discovery. Is it a special effect? An animatronic monster, perhaps? The first thing you probably noticed, is the strange shape of his head. What looks like a beak or snout protruding from the bow of his head.
Again, a screenshot of Japan (Must wonder they are the coolest monsters there? Japan is where Godzilla lives!) For fishermen, this is the first Once the specimen Mitsukurina in the "Black Current" off Yokohama. They nicknamed tenguzame, "which means" goblin shark ".
This shark is extremely rare because they can be found in the deep waters of Japan, South Africa, and somewhere in Portugal. Given his muzzle is a handicap, he protrusile jaws, making it possible for sharks to feed. Scientists have found that the "nose" is dotted sensory cells, leading them to believe that its function is to help the shark find food in the deep. It feeds on deep-sea squid, crabs and other creatures of the deep sea. This shark was found swimming as deep as 4000 feet. The first known goblin shark was 3.5 feet, but specimen which are as long as 14 feet has been discovered. (Imagine what would happen if they attack you!)
There you have some rare and terrifying shark attacks Waiting to (In other words, if you swim in deep water and deep.) Care of anyone for a swim?

Rare Days in Japan
$23.49 Purchase of this book includes free trial access to www.million-books.com where you can read more than a million books for free. This is an OCR edition with typos. Excerpt from book: CHAPTER III CLIMBING ASAMA-YAMA Between a series of addresses which I had been giving in his church, in early July of 1892, in Tokyo, and the opening of work at the summer-school at Hakone, Mr. T. Yokoi and I planned an excursion of a few days to the mountainous region in the interior northward of the Capital City. The addresses had been on topics in philosophy?chiefly the Philosophy of Religion. The weather proved as uncomfortable and debilitating as Japanese summer weather can easily be. In spite of this, however, about two hundred and fifty men, with few exceptions from the student classes, had been constant in attendance and interest to the very end; and I was asking myself where else in the world under similar discouraging circumstances, such an audience for such a subject could readily be secured. The evening before we were to set out upon our trip, I was given a dinner in the apartments of one of the temples in the suburbs of Tokyo. The whole entertainment was characteristic of old-fashioned Japanese ideals of the most refined hospitality; abrief description of what took place may therefore help to correct any impression that the posturing of geisha girls and the drinking of quantities of hot sake is the only way in which the cultivated gentlemen of Japan know how to amuse themselves. As the principal feature of entertainment on this occasion, an artist of local reputation, who worked with water-colours, had been called to the assistance of the hosts; and we all spent a most pleasant and instructive hour or two, seated on the mats around him and watching the skill of his art in rapid designing and executing. The kakemonos thus produced were then presented to the principal guest as souvenirs of the occasion. The artistic skill of this old gentleman was not indeed eq... |

The Yasukuni Swords: Rare Weapons of Japan, 1933-1945
$128.95 The 8,100 swords manufactured in the grounds of the Yasukuni Shrine between 1933 and 1945 are an exceptional legacy, as artifacts that preserved not only time-honored forging methods but the aesthetic and spiritual traditions of the samurai warrior.brbrNo other weapon in the world can boast of possessing such a high spiritual quality as the Japanese sword. For over a thousand years the sword was revered as the very soul of the samurai warriors who wielded it, commanding awe, respect, and an almost religious devotion. The tumultuous events of modern Japanese history and the nation's relentless drive toward technological advancement, however, irrevocably sealed the sword's fate, and, along with the samurai class, the sword became an anachronism, both culturally and militarily.brbrAs Japan entered a period of unprecedented Imperial expansion in the early twentieth century, the Japanese sword, despite its limited practical effect, became a feature of the soldier's arsenal-an echo of the mythical status it enjoyed in feudal times. The Yasukuni swords emerged during the build-up to World War II, in part to help meet the huge demands of the Imperial Army, but more importantly out of a desire to preserve time-honored forging methods, and to revive the spirit of the samurai. For these reasons, they were notably distinct from so-called Showa-to, which were mass-produced and inferior in quality and artistry.brbrAll swords were banned in the immediate aftermath of World War II, and the decades that followed have seen a decline in the popularity of Yasukuni swords, largely because of their associations with that war and the military. Another factor has been the stigma attached to Showa-to, which has helped to stereotype wartime swords in general.brbrRecent years, however, have seen a renewed interest in the surviving Yasukuni swords. Many collectors and appraisers have acknowledged the workmanship of these swords as displaying a perfect blend of technology and @`fffffÿ¾Úx |
